FORCIBLE ENTRY FOR PATROL RESPONSE TO AN EMERGENCY (TRAIN THE TRAINER) 06/15 - 06/16

This course is designed to provide a safe working environment on the topic of Breaching. The course is based off the premise of worst-case scenarios such as an active shooter event. This course will consist of 2 eight-hour days and will concentrate on solutions for forcible entry for Novice. Upon completion of the course the student should be familiar with the basic understandings of breaching and construction of the door and jamb. The students will be able to identify different style doors as well as how to use and teach how to use a Halligan, Ram, Sledge, JTC CLAW, and Wedges. Students will receive a certificate as a trainer of this topic for patrol.
