Light Weight RDS Ballistic Shield
The United Shield International Light Weight RDS Ballistic Shield – Rapid Deployment Shield (RDS) – is a lightweight, highly maneuverable shield/ These capabilities meet the needs of officers that require a shield that can easily be stowed in a vehicle for quick deployment.
This shield incorporates the latest materials technology to provide market leading weights and a handle system that has been ergonomically developed over a number of years for increased comfort and flexibility.
The LW RDS shield has been manufactured to provide a multi-hit capability. RDS Shield comes standard with the international soft handle.
Armor Solution
The Light Weight RDS Ballistic Shield is made from high strength aramid achieving the NIJ level IIIA, meeting the NIJ 0108.01 testing standards. Furthermore, the LW Level IIIA shield Multi-hit Capability with special Threat testing NIJ IIIA performance:
